Overview: 

Paint Gods have been in the Painting and Decorating market for over 10 years! We proud ourselves in offering great painting and decorating services on the Brisbane area. Our expertise englobes residential and commercial buildings. 

We are looking for a painter to join our growing team. This position is a full-time ongoing position, working 38 hours per week. The work will be carried out in Brisbane - QLD and surrounding areas. 

Main tasks: 

What you'll be doing:

-          Prepare surfaces by removing old paint, wallpaper, and any imperfections.

-          Repair minor cracks, holes, and damaged woodwork.

-          Apply primers, undercoats, and topcoats using a range of tools like brushes, rollers, and spray guns.

-          Mix paints and tints to achieve the desired colour and finish.

-          Hang wallpaper, ensuring precise pattern matching and flawless trimming.

-          Erect scaffolding and ladders for safe access to higher areas.

-          Thoroughly clean work areas before and after each project.

-          Maintain a clean and organised work environment.

-          May assist with other decorating tasks as required

Required/Relevant Qualifications & Work Experience:

-          Minimum of a relevant Certificate III qualification

-          At least 1 year of relevant industry experience

Required/Relevant Skills & Knowledge:

-          A strong understanding of different paint types, finishes, and application methods

-          Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work

-          Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Annual salary will be between $75,000.00 to $80.000,00 (plus superannuation) depending on level of experience.
